Happy Valentine’s Day from Design for Energy!
In the spirit of the season, I wanted to share some Feng Shui tips for romance. Whether you are already in a relationship, seeking a partner or wanting a romantic connection, this blog post will help to prepare and perfect any space and amplify your intentions for romance.
Romance goes beyond the traditional chocolates and roses. Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to focus on love in many forms: self-love, romance and the positive energy that flows throughout your home. If you make intentional changes, you will start to see romance naturally flow in your life. It’s important to set your relationships up for success by being mindful of your decor and placements. Energy and chi must be able to flow freely for love to flow freely in your life.

Feng Shui Tips for Romance this Valentine’s Day:
- Write an Intention: Visualize what it is you want out of love and write it down on paper. There is power in your Intentions especially when it’s put somewhere you frequently pass.
- Set up your bedroom: Salt lamps are a nice alternative to bright, disruptive lighting. Set the mood with warm lights, candles, serene landscapes, and rose quartz crystals to attract love. Avoid mirrors that face the bed as this can disrupt sleep and create unsettling energy.
- The best colors for romance: Color plays a big part in your mood and energy levels. Try adding soft, neutral tones to create a soothing, intimate environment.
- Everything is better in pairs: In the bedroom specifically, you want to attract romance by putting your decor pieces in pairs: two lamps, two bedside tables, etc. This invites connection into your space and creates an Intention for relationships.
- A picture is worth a thousand words: Put up artwork or a picture of the relationship you want or a current picture of you and your partner. If you’re already in a relationship, the bedroom is a great place to put photos of you two. You will want to avoid family photos here and think of the photos in this room as a visual Intention you are setting for yourself.
- Take action: If you’re single, go out for a night of fun and mingling. If you’re in a relationship or married, go on a date. Valentine’s Day is a great time to build connections whether you hope for them to exist or they already do.
- Set up a Zoom consultation for love, romance, and attracting the right partner: I am always available to discuss areas you want to enhance. Give me a call and we can schedule a time to meet virtually. I’m happy to provide more tips during our discussion.
