Feng Shui with Chinese Astrology to Energize Your Life

July 25, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

Shengxiao

Refers to the “Chinese animal zodiac” and is a repeating cycle of 12 years, with each year being represented by an animal and its attributes.

Years may pass, but your Chinese zodiac stays the same and follows as you grow – secretly playing a large role in your life. From your personality to your morals, each animal refers to not only the year you were born, but the beliefs that have been attributed to your animal for generations.

While these zodiacs don’t make up every part of your life, they do explain certain aspects at times. There are definitely ways to implement Feng Shui practices when thinking about your animal. Embrace those positive qualities and highlight on elements that can make the energy around you much stronger.

Which zodiac are you?

Year of the Yang Earth Dog 2018

February 13, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

What does this mean for you?

The Chinese Zodiac moves in a 12-year cycle so those born in 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, and 2018 are born in the Year of the Dog. Asian astrology – distinguished by your birth year and the animal it represents – helps understand your personality traits and the year ahead of you.

Anyone born in the Year of the Yang Earth Dog 2018 will be communicative, serious, and responsible in the workplace. The last time we had a Year of the Earth Dog was in 1958! Earth Dogs are specifically known to distinguish the good from the bad. With a lot of hard work, the Earth Dog will achieve success through persistence and a dedicated attitude.

What does Yang mean?

Exterior energy. In Feng Shui, it can be characterized as sunlit rooms, high ceilings, and open spaces. A fun-loving and gentle energy that will help welcome a New Year!

What is an Earth Dog?

Earth energy is all about feeling grounded. Earth Dogs may be slow to move and slow to progress, but it’s all about finding their perfect balance to get further ahead. Persistence and dedication is key!

What to expect?

People born in the Year of the Dog are said to be independent, friendly and loyal. Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year, welcomes this new change in animal along with a new Feng Shui element. Famous dogs include David Bowie, Steven Spielberg, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Madonna and Mother Teresa.

On Thursday February 15, a solar eclipse coincides with Chinese New Year just as the cocky Fire Rooster passes the torch to the loyal Earth Dog. Year of the Yang Earth Dog will take place until February 4, 2019:

  • We should all begin to feel a little more grounded.
  • With more stability comes more peace and diplomacy.
