Feng Shui for Spring

March 18, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

Spring time is here!

Spring in Feng Shui, represents new beginnings.  It is a time for planting seeds for growth and opportunities.  The color is Green for the Wood element.  Trees, plants, flowers, all blooming in and around your home add new life and energy.  The Lunar New Year has begun and those intentions you set are now ready to be put into motion.  Take action on those things you desire for this year and watch them unfold like a flower beginning to bloom.

While the flowers begin to bloom and the sun makes its regular appearances, our homes should be prepared for the season. We all know the term “spring cleaning” and that definitely applies to Feng Shui when thinking about the way your home is presented for optimal abundance.

Tips for Spring:

Declutter – The state of your kitchen depicts the state of your health so clear the old foods from your freezer and cupboards, wipe down your countertops, stove and fridge and try to use natural, non-toxic cleaning products versus harsh ones. Of course, replace light fixtures immediately after they go out and keep the scent fresh and light.

Make space – If you’re looking to make space for love in your life, make sure there is room for a relationship. Contact us for a major clearing session! We’d love to clear any stagnant, harmful energy.

Refresh your bedroom – Take some time to remove items in your sleeping space with a garage sale. Select items that weren’t used for 6 or more months. The most important part to keep clean in the bedroom is under and around the bed. Always avoid to put items under the bed and don’t hang anything above it. When we sleep, we should feel peaceful and relaxed. Having something hovering over our heads isn’t always the best idea and clutter under the bed leads to harmful chi energy.

Decorate with greenery – Nothing creates healthier energy than different plants throughout your home. Whether it’s herbs in the kitchen or air-purifying plants like palms, bamboo, and ferns. Sage clearings are also good for a new space! Contact us for details. Open windows and doors after a smudging or clearing to remove old energy and make room for a new one.

Wipe the windows – Sunlight in a home or apartment is a quick way to welcome fresh energy. It gives the space a new perspective and makes a room feel and look cleaner.

From now until June 21, Spring will bring us a new insight on fresh Feng Shui. Ask about our Powerful Energetic Space Clearing Services 512-740-1251

Feng Shui for Salespeople

March 5, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

I spent over 18 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device field. It was fun, adventuresome, challenging, stressful and rewarding all at the same time.

When I first encountered feng shui, which was much too late in the game in my opinion, it positively catapulted my career to huge success!

I was doing all the right things, making my numbers, was well-liked, but just wasn’t seeing the money.

Fortunately for me, I was organized and learned even better organizational skills as a pharmaceutical rep for Pfizer Inc. They had a very structured system. My boss taught me how to arrange my trunk so I could have the right access to what I needed in a moment’s notice.

I learned to dress well and keep my home office neat. I knew it made a difference but didn’t know it was good feng shui at the time.

When I came across feng shui and had my home office done by phone, I was amazed. My feng shui master just gave me a few tips.  After, my home office looked like it had been designed by a professional designer. I implemented his suggestions and it felt and worked great.

I began seeing movement in my career immediately and ended up with more pay raises and promotions in a short period, more than ever before.

If you are in a high-paying, but highly stressful sales job, feng shui can help you achieve faster results with less effort.  It is all about energy. Use it and use it wisely, it will change your life.

How to Improve Sales using Feng Shui:

  • Always have a solid wall behind you
    • Improve your authority and credibility
  • Avoid mirrors
    • If facing a mirror, it can prove to be distracting and reduces the authority
  • Avoid standing near windows or doorways
    • The same distractions that mirrors bring when trying to achieve sales

Enhance Your Spirituality with Feng Shui

February 23, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

In Feng Shui, the Northeast sector of your home or office is good for spiritual and personal growth and should be well maintained throughout the year. Do you feel your area could use a refresh? There are plenty of tips and tricks that improve the presence of spirit in your life and enhance your own growth energy.

Improve your Spirituality with Feng Shui:

⛰️ Incorporate a strong Earth element energy into your space: mountains, canyons, and landscapes work well.

⛰️ Hang art that connects to your own unique spiritual journey: Buddha figurines, angels, etc.

⛰️ Get a variety of Feng Shui aids that help bring sacredness into your life: Crystals, Salt Lamps, Dried Sage for smudging, and Palo Santo are all powerful healers.

⛰️ Invite Spiritual Energy with an essential oil humidifier: Sandalwood, Sage and Frankincense are all oils that impact this area.

⛰️ Create space: Avoid clutter and define your Spirituality Area. This can be one room dedicated to prayer. It can be an alter on a shelf. It can be part of the living room where you go to get quiet.

⛰️ Colors: Highlight on blues and greens in this corner as these correlate with Earth energy, a perfect pair for Spirituality.

Create an alter with the Five Elements: Wood, Metal, Fire, Water and Earth. Earth can be a crystal, Wood a flower or plant, Metal can be a bell, Fire a red candle and a small bowl of Water that you leave on your alter. Replace the water daily to refresh your space.

It’s said that those who are aware of the spiritual energy around them have happier and more fulfilled lives. The Spiritual realm is beyond what’s physical and it focuses more on the energy around us. Energy we can create! It can mean different things to different people. Other key habits like meditation, gratitude, connecting with nature, singing and visiting holy places can all impact the energy you surround yourself with. Create intentions for yourself and utilize these tips to achieve them. You’ll find that the energy around you will quickly change.

Creating a nurturing, sacred place is a goal of good feng shui.

Year of the Yang Earth Dog 2018

February 13, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

What does this mean for you?

The Chinese Zodiac moves in a 12-year cycle so those born in 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, and 2018 are born in the Year of the Dog. Asian astrology – distinguished by your birth year and the animal it represents – helps understand your personality traits and the year ahead of you.

Anyone born in the Year of the Yang Earth Dog 2018 will be communicative, serious, and responsible in the workplace. The last time we had a Year of the Earth Dog was in 1958! Earth Dogs are specifically known to distinguish the good from the bad. With a lot of hard work, the Earth Dog will achieve success through persistence and a dedicated attitude.

What does Yang mean?

Exterior energy. In Feng Shui, it can be characterized as sunlit rooms, high ceilings, and open spaces. A fun-loving and gentle energy that will help welcome a New Year!

What is an Earth Dog?

Earth energy is all about feeling grounded. Earth Dogs may be slow to move and slow to progress, but it’s all about finding their perfect balance to get further ahead. Persistence and dedication is key!

What to expect?

People born in the Year of the Dog are said to be independent, friendly and loyal. Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year, welcomes this new change in animal along with a new Feng Shui element. Famous dogs include David Bowie, Steven Spielberg, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Madonna and Mother Teresa.

On Thursday February 15, a solar eclipse coincides with Chinese New Year just as the cocky Fire Rooster passes the torch to the loyal Earth Dog. Year of the Yang Earth Dog will take place until February 4, 2019:

  • We should all begin to feel a little more grounded.
  • With more stability comes more peace and diplomacy.

Chinese New Year 2018

January 29, 2018 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

As we probably know by now, Feng Shui is about attracting positive things into our lives. Friday, February 16 is the Chinese New Year (otherwise known as Lunar New Year) and the best time to highlight on these auspicious elements in our life!

A beloved tradition of Chinese culture, Chinese New Year is a 15-day celebration and begins on the second New Moon of the year. A Chinese Zodiac and Feng Shui Element determines the energy for that year.

Welcome Earth Dog!

How to prepare for Chinese New Year 2018

A Clean Home. Your home should be sparkly clean before the New Year as it’s bad luck to clean the first few days of this holiday. The same goes for your yard and car. It helps get a fresh start on the year. It’s like beginning on a clean state.

Home Decor. Red, a known auspicious color in Feng Shui, is great to wear on Chinese New Year for good luck. Also implement the color gold where you can as this promotes abundance and success. Placing items of Love, Prosperity, Abundance, Joy, Happiness and Success are all key words that should be focused throughout your home or office.

Clothing. Welcome the New Year with new clothing. Donate old items to help make room for some new pieces. This will ensure you start the year with fresh energy.

Food. One of the most important parts of a Chinese New Year is the food that you consume. Mandarin oranges for luck, fish for abundance, and uncut noodles for a long life! Be sure to share a meal with family or friends on that day.

Gifts. Red envelopes with money signify abundance being passed to family and friends. Chinese culture often gift these little tokens of gratitude for financial well-being. You can also use them to place intentions you have written for the New Year and place it in areas you’d like to enhance. One in the bedroom for love and romance, one in your office for more business, etc.

Contact us today for a free 60-minute money making session. We’ll help set up your space for amazing success in 2018!
