Do What You Love Now!

November 2, 2017 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

⭐ I recently gave a short presentation at a networking meeting. There were about 50 professional entrepreneurs in the room. They were all of varying degrees of experience. Some are just starting out and others have been at it for years. I was excited to share with my fellow peers about what I do and why I do it.  I could’ve certainly presented feng shui tips and interesting things you can do to your home office for success, but it would miss the main point.
⭐ My main goal of the presentation was to let the audience know that there are ways, tools, and techniques that are more than 4,000 years old that can help them be more successful. It was only ten minutes so I had to be clear, concise and to the point if I was going to have anyone remember what I said. I had a nice colorful powerpoint presentation where I shared my purpose for being in this business.  It’s to help people achieve more prosperity and success in their lives. When I finished, many people asked questions and a businesswoman stood up. I actually did a little feng shui on her home years ago and she remembered me. When she raised her hand to speak, I was seated in the back of the room at that point. She said, “I have known Belinda for almost ten years now and she is as passionate today about what she does as she was when I first met her.”  She went on to say other very nice things, but my mind stood still with this comment. I noticed other entrepreneurs looking at me and her. I felt they were wondering if they too were as passionate today as when they began their ventures.
⭐ One of my goals is to help people discover a passion they love and be successful at it.  If we apply energy to the things we desire, they manifest. With intention, good feng shui, a plan or vision, and determination or persistence, we can have what we desire in record time.
⭐ I tell budding entrepreneurs who may be struggling financially to keep doing what they love even if they have to work another job in the process of getting it off the ground. Don’t ever lose sight of your dream. Keep working at it daily! If you or someone you know is wondering what their life’s purpose is, offer them my free 45 minute money-making phone session.

My Success Bloomed in Different Ways
 Clarity ☑️
Taking action daily on my dream ☑️
Having clear intentions for what I really want ☑️
Strong desire to live a life of empowered freedom ☑️
Guidance from successful coaches, mentors, and teachers ☑️
Passion to do something creative that makes a positive difference ☑️

I help my clients with these things and more so they live happier, more successful lives. Homeowners may want a peaceful space for their family. A space that brings more prosperity or better health. Business owners may want to attract more customers, increase visibility or increase profits. Whatever the intent, I can help remove blocks to getting what you want. The art of feng shui which is a powerful app I use, can help move energy in the direction you desire. Don’t hesitate to start doing what you love and making money at it too!

Want to have a more PROSPEROUS life?

October 18, 2017 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

Whenever I work with people I want to know what is most important to them right now?  What would they like to see improved, changed or enhanced in their life?  It is my goal to help them achieve what they desire with ease and grace otherwise I am just giving fun tips.

My Optimum Prosperity and Success Program is an in-depth service that allows me to help people move from a blocked place to one of more abundance. It is great for homeowners and businesses wanting more positive results. My most recent client wrote this to me a few days ago:  “I’m grateful for you and all of the work you have done for me. I feel a lightness and more clarity. I feel like this is what I’ve needed for a long time. I can’t thank you enough.” He is a singer-songwriter who wants his career to expand, get more recognition, and financial rewards.  He works from home.  He thought he could handle things on his own, but quickly became frustrated and overwhelmed so he called me for help. His comment not only warms my heart but makes me feel I am on the right track with helping people achieve their soul’s desires.

He is experiencing great results because:
  • He is ready for change.
  • He asked for help.
  • He set powerful intentions.
  • Learned new ways of setting up his space for success.
  • Followed the feng shui advice and implemented it right away.
  • He gained clarity.
  • He is receiving support to continue the success.

All of these things are changing his energy, perspective, and motivation.  He loves the way his space feels and now sees it as a nurturing space where he can create and re-charge his batteries. He also has a newfound interest in his career and will begin to travel with his music.  This all happened in a week!

If you or someone you know would like to make a major life shift, create more happiness or peace of mind, feel free to contact me for a free 45 minute abundance phone session at 512-740-1251.

Don’t wait to have a more prosperous and happy life!

Feng Shui for Halloween in Style

October 6, 2017 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

Halloween Door Mat

October is a great month! Not only does it represent harvest time in feng shui.  We reap what we have sown all year long.  Leaves start to change, breezes get cooler, and it heralds in the holidays.  It’s when I start to prepare my feng shui forecasts for the New Year and begin to plan events.

I like the festivities, costumes, trick or treaters and even the upcoming Day of the Dead (honoring of ancestors).

How do you spend Halloween?  Do you take your kids trick or treating?  Do you go to costume parties?

You might be having a party at your home or going out to someone’s event.  You don’t have to ruin your Feng Shui just because its Halloween. Death, skulls and crossbones, are not the only images or ways of decorating.

I actually celebrate Halloween starting on Oct. 1st.  I wear halloween colors to business meetings, lunches, or after work events.  I even dress my little dogs up.  We enter pet costume contests throughout the month.  We even have a a “doggie” halloween party “with their friends.”

If decorating your Home or Business, here are some Feng Shui Tips for having a Powerful and Magical Halloween Month:

  1. Use fiery oranges to bring in prosperity. Incorporate your clothing at the beginning of the month.  You don’t have to wait until Halloween night.  Hang Goblins with orange ties on the front door as they can ward off negative energy from business associates.
  2. Use Black to Decorate. A black wreath on the door for some “watchful energy.”
  3. Metal Jack O’ Lanterns. Black can ground energy.
  4. Use Feathered Owls.  Yes, they may look spooky, but they add protection to your house.  Place near the front door.  Gargoyles can also work.
  5. Buy a Halloween Door Mat.  Some scary or haunting images are good for warding off negative energy.
  6. Use hollowed out pumpkins as candles. Place in the center of your home or office. They can bring a sense of calmness to the room.  You can use them at Thanksgiving too!
  7. Using metallics like gold and silver. Your blacks and oranges are great for that shimmery, glowing effect that adds energy to your home or business.

On Halloween night take care while driving when parties or trick or treating with kids or pets. Have fun and make this a magical month!

Creating A Success-Filled Hotel Room

September 11, 2017 by Belinda Mendoza 1 Comment

Heading out for a vacation or business and staying in a hotel? Traveling season is quickly approaching and the holiday season can occasionally make hotel rooms our home away from home. Make it the best it can be by setting up your hotel for success!

Work can be stressful but add travel to it, and it can increase significantly. I did whatever I could to lower my stress so I had a more enjoyable and efficient trip. I traveled extensively for over 20 years when I worked in pharmaceutical and medical device sales. I was on planes and cars traveling from place to place almost every week. This often meant staying in one to three hotels a week. Most of my friends thought I had a glamorous job. Although I did enjoy it in the early years, as each city was a new adventure, traveling always presents many challenges.

For example, it often means spending countless hours immersed in high electromagnetic fields. Airports literally hum with them, as do the aircraft. These energy fields can be extremely debilitating, draining our bodies of chi, and causing headaches, irritability, depression, and insomnia.

Couple this with time-zone changes, and we end up with the classic jet lag experience. Being blessed with good health, I didn’t become aware of the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields until rather late in my career, when I began to study the art of Feng Shui.

Reduce your exposure to EMFs by unplugging all unnecessary electronics like coffeemakers and alarm clocks. Taking these preventative measures and charging phones away from your bed not only helps the planet from harmful energy loads, but it also makes you feel healthier. EMFs are electromagnetic fields that are invisible areas of energy associated with electrical power and man made lighting.

If you are sensitive to EMFs, depending on the level of frequency, you may experience symptoms including:

  • Fatigue, stress, or sleep disturbances
  • Rashes
  • Pains and aches in your muscles
  • Foggy thinking or depression, among others

However, I learned there is a device to prevent jet lag that one can wear like a piece of jewelry. I found that wearing it prevents jet lag, no matter how many time zones I fly through. Now, they make such devices for cellphones and laptops, which I use! Ask me about these if interested.

Hotel rooms present another travel challenge! Even the highest-rated can be filled with dead, stale chi and energy from prior guests. If it’s a large hotel, you also contend with being sandwiched between other rooms and the energies of other occupants. Add this energy and  the sharp angles of some furniture,  bathroom chi, electromagnetic fields, noise, and it’s no wonder so many people dislike travel.

So, what can you do? First, clear the room energetically, using whatever means you prefer to get a fresh start. In basic Feng Shui, you can use tassels to compensate for cutting edges, crystals to adjust chi flow, and you can rearrange the furniture to achieve a more harmonious environment. Check for electromagnetic fields and correct for these. For example, put your alarm clock on opposite side of bed, rather than next to your head.

Once I had completed the above steps, I would light native american sage, say a prayer or mantra, and visualize the space filled with white light energy. If I was staying for an extended period of time, I would write on a piece of paper the intent of my stay, what I wanted to experience and accomplish while I was there, and then I’d put the paper in a red envelope and place it on my bedside table.  An alternate area for it is under your pillow, close to where we manifest our dreams.

If you travel, whether for business or pleasure, it’s good to use Feng Shui principles to make your stay more comfortable. Fortunately, many hotels today have become “Feng Shui friendly” and if you look, you can find ones that advertise they are.

You can also spot one yourself by looking for a well-placed front door and a welcoming atmosphere. Bonus! If staying for more than one night, bring a small bamboo plant. Bringing nature indoors helps keep us grounded and it also relieves the air of toxins.

If you frequent just one chain of hotels as I did when I traveled, the rooms begin to look identical, no matter where you are. As I began my study of Feng Shui I learned I could enhance my room, my travel experiences, and my Feng Shui luck by taking several small items I could use to personalize my hotel room.

Feng Shui for Corporate Spaces

August 23, 2017 by Belinda Mendoza Leave a Comment

Corporate Spaces are naturally paired with high stress positions. Established businesses are moving to bigger floorplans for larger teams, but sometimes sacrifice the quality of the work space. Feng shui techniques can transform these environments into manageable workstations versus negative energies.

Fun Fact: Corporate giants including Disney, Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and British Airways have implemented Feng Shui into past developments specifically for healthy energies, boosted profits and productivity.

Creative Break Rooms should be where employees can unwind and recharge. A warm and inviting breakroom will promote good Feng Shui and a healthy energy flow. Whether you hang motivational posters and paintings or paint the walls a fresh color, utilize this space to make it as comfortable as you can. Comfortable furniture is a great way to allow staff members to step away from their desk and electronics.

Air Quality is a simple aspect that is often forgotten. A bigger space requires efforts towards cleaner air for employees. The Boston Fern has been considered one of the most air-purifying plants that require little upkeep. They thrive indoors and are recommended for businesses because of their benefits. Stationing these plants at or near cubicles can help cleanse the air, preventing areas from becoming too stuffy. It’s especially effective when removing germs from fellow co-workers during flu and allergy season.

Better Lighting can turn a dreary room into a motivating one. Avoid fluorescent lighting at all costs and aim for natural lighting. Fluorescent lighting is known to make employees less alert and tired. Take advantage of windows and sunlight for the most effective productivity – creating positive energy and improving the overall well being of the staff.

The best workplaces are those that invest in the tools that keep employees happy and healthy. In Feng Shui, the flow of energy is known to directly impact the factors that business owners care about: employee satisfaction (happiness) and profits (abundance). Corporate spaces can prosper by adapting Feng Shui principles and techniques – ridding themselves of stereotypes that larger businesses pay less attention to small details. Feng Shui is all about details. Details that provide healthy, clean, joyful, and relaxing aspects that will directly encourage workers and promote company growth.
